Dental Emergencies include:
- Toothache, also known as dental pain, is the most common orofacial pain. The treatment of a toothache depends on the cause of the pain. The relief of toothache is the main responsibilities of your North shore dentist.
- Chipped or broken tooth: If you call your North Vancouver dentist right after it happens, the dentist will see you right away. Small fillings can save small fractures; however, serious fractures may require root canal treatment or a crown.
- Knocked out tooth: If the knocked out tooth is clean, put it back in its socket. If it is not possible, put it in a container of cold milk, and call your dentist right away. If you get help within 10 minutes, there is a fair chance that the tooth will survive.
Lost filling: If you lose a filling see your dentist as soon as possible to prevent progression of the cavity.
