Dentures are removable appliances that replace missing teeth where bridges are contraindicated. There are two kinds of dentures:

• Partial dentures are used to replace teeth where a few teeth are missing.
• Complete dentures are used to replace all the teeth in one jaw.

To fabricate a denture we will usually need a few sessions to measure all the aspects of the mastication system.

After a while, because of changes of the tissues around, a denture will need reline which is adapting the inside of a denture to the existing tissues.
